What is a Zeta Tau Alpha Sister?

A Zeta Tau Alpha sister is herself;

she plays no roles,

memorizes no speeches,

smiles a real smile,

laughs a real laugh, helps understand when you cry,

dreams when you dream,

and teaches you love like you've never known it.

    Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity is involved in many activities.  We strive to succeed in the various charitable events that we take part in.  Our Philanthropy is an event know as "Zeta Pockets" which is a Pool Tornament to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.  Another University wide philanthropy we are very involved in is Dance Marathon.  Dance Marathon is a philanthropy which benefits the Hershey Medical Center and the Four Diamonds Fund to raise money for children who have cancer.

    We also engage in many other philanthropies and activities produced by the overall  Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic.  Some of these week long activities include a Homecoming week, Greek Sing, and Spring Week. We also participate in the philanthropies run by other sororities and fraternities .  Some of these include:   Sigma Chi's- Derby Days, Delta Gamma- Anchor Splash, Kappa Delta- Twister,  and Phi Sigma Kappa- Superstars.

Along with these events we also perform many service activities to help out the communtiy.  Some of these include helping out the local women's shelter by painting pumpkins and giving candy to children for Halloween and  giving Christmas gifts for both the women and children in the shelter. Collecting beverage tabs to help out the Ronald McDonald House and  donating hams and other canned food to the food clinic so they could have a nice Easter dinner was also an activity we did to help out the community.
