Dance Marathon

Dance Marathon Penn State Dance Marathon is one of the largest Student run Philanthropies in the nation. This big event occurs in February and is put together with the help of over a hundred and fifty organiztions of Penn State working together to make the event a huge success. The event is held in the White Building and it involves a forty-eight dance-athon. The money is raised for children with cancer at the Hershey Medical Center. This Four Diamonds Fund gets almost two-thirds of all the money raised Penn States Dance Marathon. Zeta Tau Alpha teams up with Alpha Tau Omega Fraterntity and has raised the most amount of money for THON for the past three years. This year, 1998, we raised $226,907.07.Penn State as a whole raised $2,001,831.51- the most amount raised for thon.
Zeta Tau Alpha's dancers at "THON 1998" were Courtney Hileman, Jen Grosso, Karen Korey, Erin Knight, and Jill Tassone. They did an amazing job.
