Whereas, the
Student Government Association is tasked with running the Tech Center Lottery
Whereas, the Tech
Center Lottery procedure is not described within the SGA Constitution
Be it resolved, that the
Tech Center Lottery be implemented as follows:
I.
The Tech Center
Lottery will be chaired by the SGA Vice President. The Committee will consist of the SGA Vice
President, SGA Upperclass PR, Faculty Representative
from the

The Tech Center
Lottery will be announced the second week of classes each semester and Sign Up
sheets will be posted. All Sign Up
sheets will be posted on the first day of the week and removed the last day of
the week.
III.
The Tech Center
Passes may not exceed ninety-five (95) full time passes and ten (10)
alternates. Alternates are given passes
only when a full time pass is not picked up by recipient.
IV.
The following
outlines the weighting system:
a.
All students will
be given one (1) chance in the drawing.
b.
Students whose
names appear more than once on the sign up sheets shall have their names
removed from the drawing. Students who misrepresent
their semester status shall have their names removed from the drawing.
c.
Students having a
semester status of one (1) through four (4), shall be
eligible to receive any of thirty-five (35) passes. Students having a semester status of five (5)
or greater shall be eligible to receive any of sixty (60) passes. Any student of any semester status will be
eligible to be drawn as an alternate.
V.
The names will be
drawn by the committee on the first Monday of the third week and announced on
Tuesday. All passes will then be
distributed through the Office of Campus Security at their discretion.
