Constitutional Amendment

 

 

Whereas, the Constitution of the Student Government Association outlines the policy of the organization

 

Whereas, the Constitution’s purpose is to outline the working policies of the Student Government

 

Whereas, not all Student Government business needs to be included in the Constitution

 

Be it resolved, that the Constitution be amended to include the following:

 

            Amendment 5:

 

Section 1:         Legislative resolutions shall be voted on by the Senate and receive a two-thirds majority vote to pass.  The passed resolution shall become effective at adjournment of the meeting. 

 

Section 2:         Legislative resolution shall be numerically listed in the order that they are brought before the Senate. 

 

Section 3:         Legislative resolutions shall be enforced by the Senate and the Executive Board.

 

Be it further resolved,  that all Legislative resolutions take the form demonstrated here
