The Penn State Yoga and Meditation Society holds yoga practice Monday evening, 8:15pm, at Yoga in State college on Allen Street. Meetings are very informal and last approximately 1 hr 30 min for yoga. Students are encouraged to share their styles with everyone, and often lead the meetings. Faculty and special guests also come to share their practices. There is no cost per meeting! Club member fee is $10 for the semester. We encourage interested students to attend! Our open door policy extends throughout the semester and it is never too late to visit. Bring a towel, Bring a mat, Bring a friend. See you there on... as improving your physical and mental health and awareness. Among the health benefits
are improved blood circulation, lowered blood pressure, improved posture,
concentration and sleep. Many recognize Yoga for its physical benefits
such as muscle toning and improved flexibility. It is also a good way
to get involved with a club on campus since you are not required to attend
a quota of meetings to be a Yogi. Come when you can. "Enlightenment
should not be serious."
