Although the competition is tough, keeping a Woodsmen team going can be even tougher. Between transportation to meets and saws that can cost upwards of $2000, we need your help to compete throughout the Northeastern states and Canada. We raise money primarily in these ways:

Shirt Sales - We expect new T-shirts to be printed for the Fall 2010 semester, and we have several shirts from previous years in different sizes. If you are interested in supporting the team by purchasing a shirt, please contact Eric Munden at esm5078@psu.edu or any of the team officers.

Firewood sales - The bulk of our fundraising comes from the hard work of splitting quality hardwoods. All wood is procured from Penn State property by members of the woodsmen team. It is split to a manageable size and seasoned for a full year. Firewood is sold by the cord and delivery is included. To inquire about price please contact our advisor Mike Powell at mjp175@psu.edu.

Donations and Sponsorship - Our team is highly visible and travels to competitions throughout the Northeast. These events draw forestry and wood products professionals, as well as interested members of the general public. Let us put your company on the back of our team t-shirts with your donation.
