Directions to the Penn State campus from nearby cities

From New York City:
The suggested route is via the George Washington Bridge to I-80. In Pennsylvania, take I-80 to exit 161 (Bellefonte) and follow PA Route 220 south to State College. Take exit 74 for Innovation Park/ Penn State University.
From the Philadelphia Area:
From the Philadelphia Schuylkill Expressway, follow the Pennsylvania Turnpike to exit 247 (Harrisburg East). Proceed on I-283 to I-83 and then to the I-81 interchange. Follow I-81 west to Route 322, 22 west exit. Take Route 322 west through Lewistown to State College (exit 74).
From Pittsburgh:
Follow US Route 22 to Duncansville, I-99 / Route 220 north to Route 322 east to Mt. Nittany Expressway /  State College (exit 73).
From the West:
Take I-80 to exit 123 (woodland) just east of Clearfield, US Route 322 east to State College, or exit I-80 at Exit 161 (Bellefonte) and follow PA Route 220 south to State College.
From Washington, DC:

Several Routes are available. Take I-207 to Fredrick, I-70 to Breezewood, the PA turnpike (exit 12) west to Bedford (exit 11), I-99 north to Rt. 220, and Route 322 East to State College; or take I-95 (or the Baltimore-Washington Parkway) to Baltimore, west loop I-695 to I-83 north, I-83 north to the I-81 interchange, I-81 west to Route 322, and Route 322 west to State College

Map and directions to the West campus pitch

Located just off North Atherton Street, across from Rec Hall. West campus fields overlook one of Penn States Campus Golf Courses. To get to the West Campus Pitch, Take College Ave to North Atherton St. Turn Right onto Atherton. Go under the IST Building, and turn left onto White Course Drive. The fields will be up the hill to your right.

Map and directions to the East campus Pitch

   With Beaver Stadium looming in the background, The East Campus Pitch is located north of campus and serves as Penn State's Primary Pitch.
     From the Stadium: Turn right on to University Drive. Turn left onto Park Ave, Continue on Park (west) until you reach the intersection of Park and Biggler (next to East Halls). Turn right onto Biggler, and continue around the bend to the end of the parking lot. The field is on your right.

Map and directions to the indoor pitch, Holuba Hall

Holuba Hall is located adjacent to East Area Locker rooms, and the Ice Rink. Traveling West on Park Ave, Turn Left at Bigler Road, and continue down the hill. You will pass the outdoor pool and Varsity tennis courts on your left. Just after the tennis courts, turn left, and continue straight until you enter the Holuba Hall parking lot. East Area Locker rooms will be on your right as you enter the lot. 

What is Holuba Hall?
Holuba Hall is an indoor facility provided by the University. It contains two 80-by-120-yard AstroTurf© fields, and an indoor track. Early spring practices and matches take place here for obvious climate related reasons.
