Admissions

Penn State is an academic competitive institution that offers January, June, and August admission. We encourage our players to start in the Summer term (June). High priority is given to those that apply prior to November 30th. Many items are considered in the admissions process. The top two factors include the high school record and SAT/ACT scores. We encourage those with 1100 SAT and a 3.40 GPA to apply to the University Park Campus. Please visit the Penn State Admissions web site for further information.

Players are encouraged to be 15 minutes early to warm-up and stretch before practice. Players should bring rugby shorts, boots (cleats), mouth guard, and a rugby shirt if possible, but if you dont have them just come in comfortable clothing. Ware cleats ("boots") if you have them. However any boot with a toe spike (i.e. football, lacrosse) is considered illegal, as are baseball spikes.

Conditionings are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 pm to 7 pm at West Campus Pitch.

Players should bring both boots and running shoes as conditioning activities vary. Rugby shorts and jerseys are not required.
