Alexandra De Marco is the president of Women in Business for the 2008-2009 academic year. She has been an active member since freshman year and was the financial director this past year. She is majoring in finance and has two minors in International Business and Engineering Leadership and Development. She spent the summer of 2008 studying abroad in Italy and is planning to spend some time in Budapest Hungry through her engineering classes in May of 2010. As President she hopes to continue the success of Women in Business. One of her primary goals is to continue the connection of the Big Ten Women in Business Organizations in hopes of one day becoming a national org |

Allie Miller is the Vice President of University Relations for the 2009-2010 year. She is an Accounting major with Spanish and International Business minors. This past summer she studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and plans to gain accounting experience with an internship during summer 2010. Allie has been an active member of Women In Business since her freshmen year and as a sophomore, she had the opportunity to dance for WIB in THON 2009. Now a junior, she is both excited and eager to fulfill her duties on the executive board. As VP of University Relations, she represents WIB at Business Round Table meetings and puts together a bi-monthly newsletter highlighting all the exciting WIB events going on throughout the year. Allie is looking forward to working with her WIB girls!

Lauren is currently in her Junior year with a Finance Major. She plans to find an internship for the Summer 2010. As Vice President of Corporate Relations, Lauren's primary purpose is to develop strategic partnerships with Corporate Sponsors by maintaining WIB's Corporate Partner Database and Listserv. With her upbeat, outgoing, and approachable personality, she is able to secure general and conference funding through Corporate Donations. Lauren also serves as the Liaison between COMO and the Corporate Relations Office. Ultimately, Lauren fulfills the President’s duties when the President is unavailable. |

Bridget O'Grady is the 2009-2010 financial director of Women in Business. She joined WIB as a freshman and is excited to hold this position as a senior. She is a Finance major with minors in Business Law and Economics. As the financial director, she plans this organization's budget. She also plays a major role in planning the annual trip to Harvard by arranging the itinerary. Additionally, Bridget is also very involved with THON. Actively involved in WIB during both her freshman and sophomore years, Amber is very excited to be the Membership Chair for the 2009-2010 school year. As membership chair, she collects and records membership applications, dues and points. She also is responsible for recruitment, retention and mentorship among other things. Due to her internship with ALDI during the summer of 2008, Amber is majoring in supply chain management. Outside of WIB, she works at the WISE Institute and is actively involved in Adopt-A-School, THON, TAing for Soc119 and various other community endeavors. Amber loves to travel and especially enjoys visiting her family in the Caribbean. She's always open to suggestions and would love to hear what you have to say! Jennifer Cully is a sophomore majoring in accounting. Jennifer is thrilled to be WIB’s 2009-2010 Events Chair! Her responsibilities include organizing and promoting all Women in Business events, leading the Community Service committee, and maintaining communication with all of WIB’s event contacts. Along with Women in Business, Jennifer is also involved with the Smeal Student Mentors, the Sapphire Leadership Council, and Morale for THON. She is the Co-THON chair with Katie Pello for Fall 2009-Spring 2010. She is a junior majoring in Management with a minor in Engineering Leadership Development. She loves playing tennis, hanging out with her friends, and getting involved in community service. She has been involved in Women in Business since her freshman year and was the Co-THON chair her sophomore year. Outside of WIB, she is also involved in Engineering Students for International Outreach (ESIO) and Professional Managment Association (PMA). THON has become not just a passion, but an obsession of hers. She loves everything about it: the energy, the love, the dancing, and of course… the kids! Their strength and positive outlook on life is overwhelming and truly inspirational. Being a THON chair means organizing canning trips, attending THON meetings to receive information on what’s to come, holding meetings with WIB's THON committee to keep everyone informed of our progress, keeping in touch with our THON family and THON child, Lakeisha, and getting all of our girls in Women in Business excited for one of the best weekends they will ever experience! Katie Pello is the co-THON chair with Stephanie Giannetti for Fall ’09 to Spring ’10! She is a sophomore planning to major in Accounting, and possibly minor in International Business. Outside of school, she loves skiing, doing pilates, eating, being with her friends, and meeting new people! Katie is extremely excited for the upcoming year on the Executive Board for WIB as a co-THON chair, which includes getting to know our THON family, organizing fundraising activities and trips, and keeping WIB updated on any THON news! THON became one of the most important things in her life when she experienced it for the first time last year, and she hopes to help bring those feelings of love, excitement, and passion to many other members of WIB this year. Katie is also looking forward to getting to know new members of WIB, and give everyone a bigger opportunity to be more involved with THON and experience something exceptional at THON 2010, so don’t hesitate to send her an email with any questions or suggestions!

Samantha Marcus is a junior accounting major with a minor in economics. She is the 2009-2010 Communications Director for Women in Business. She has been an active member of WIB since her freshmen year and loves all of the opportunities the organization has to offer. This is her first year being a member of the executive board and she is excited to work with these other inspiring women. As the Communications Director, she is responsible for taking down the weekly minutes, sending out weekly e-mails, updating the website, and putting together the end-of-the-year scrapbook.
