Whiplash Dance Team is an organization that has a strong passion for dance and is completely student run. We are a hard-working and dedicated team, yet we pride ourselves on having fun doing what we love. We encourage all types of dance styles but we mainly emphasize Hip-Hop. Whiplash performs at numerous Penn State and community events throughout the academic year. Traditionally these performances include the Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally, THON, and a cumulative end-of-the-year spring show.

Auditions

  If you are interested in being a part of Whiplash Dance Team, please attend our auditions that are held at the beginning of the Fall semester.  First Cuts will be held on Tuesday, September 1st from 7:00pm-12:00am in 132 White Building.  First cuts will consist of learning some original Whiplash choreography and preforming it in small groups.  Second cuts will be held on Thursday, September 3rd from 8:30pm-12:00am in 113 White Building.  Second cuts will consist of learning and preforming more choreography as well as demonstrating technique in small groups.  Appropriate attire for auditions would be sneakers and anything that you are comfortable to dance in!
