What's It All About?

Spring-UP is the WE ARE Campaign’s spring community service event. The main purposed for this event is to spruce up University Park campus before the big Blue and White weekend, giving back to our community.

Spring-UP volunteers work with the Office of Physical Plant (OPP) on beautification projects around campus such as: planting trees, planting flowers, mulching, etc. Breakfast, lunch or snacks are provided for volunteers before heading out to service sites. All volunteers also get free t-shirts! In the past, Spring-UP has been hosted out of the beautiful Hintz Family Alumni Center and has had the honor of being sponsored by several departments and businesses including the Penn State Alumni Association, the department of Student Affairs, Sheetz, The Olive Garden, Papa John's, Clem's BBQ and many other local businesses.
