Other Information:
The Penn State Men's water polo team took 3 out of 4 for the second week in a row at a tournament held at Carnegie Mellon University. The Lions opened the tournament with a 6-9 loss against Slippery Rock, but finished with 3 strong victories over Bloomsburg (10-5), Carnegie Mellon (10-8), and Pitt (15-4). Kelsey Britton led the way for PSU with 7 goals over the weekend, while Andrew Bauman and Jared Minetola added 6 each. Mitch Palski dished 5 assists and Steve Hilk and Minetola recorded 4 steals apiece. Goalie Chris Simcox displayed a strong effort in goal with 18 saves. Penn State is now 6-2 on the season and in 2nd place going into the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship in 2 weeks. They will compete in an invitational tournament this weekend at Villanova, playing the host team, Colgate Unversity, and Greater Philadelphia.

to this tournament in order to save money on hotels (A goes one day, B goes
other day). If this is the case, the second team will be leaving McCoy
Natatorium Sunday
