Valley is named after Happy Valley and was founded in September 2007 by former Penn State students Nicole Gallo, Meredith Ryan, Katie Zuccolo and Kathryn Tomaselli. Valley is a non-profit Penn State publication, funded by the University Park Allocation Committee, (UPAC).

The magazine was created to be a resource for Penn State women to learn about life and style on University Park's campus. After tons of hard work, the first issue of Valley was published in April 2008.

As Valley is a fairly new organization, we still have a lot of growing to do, and our members are working hard to provide a magazine that keeps you one step ahead in terms of the latest fashion, health, relationship and entertainment trends.
