| Changing Outfits, changing attitudes—Why not help change lives? Join VALLEY Magazine, a non-profit Penn State publication, for its 3rd fashion show-THE WALK. THE WALK will take place on April 19th, at 7 p.m. in Alumni Hall, located in Penn State’s Hub Robeson Center. Doors open at 6pm. Come out to not only get a glimpse of some of “Happy Valley’s” best looks, but to also make a difference. All proceeds will be donated to Oxfam, a charity, with more than 3,000 local partner organizations, that works in over 100 countries to overcome poverty and injustice. To enter, just bring $1 at the door, an eye for fashion, and an open mind. Though a fairly new organization, VALLEY Magazine gets better with each turning page, and serves as a resource for Penn State life and style that girls on campus are clicking their heels to every day. Your blue jeans may fade, but your sense of style never will, as VALLEY brings you the latest in fashion, health, relationships, and entertainment—all that you need to stay classy and composed. Named after “Happy Valley” itself, VALLEY Magazine wants you to get the first look at the latest local trends, whether on a page, or on a runway. This year’s fashion show will bring the hottest styles to the stage, featuring clothes from Sydney Mac, Rag and Bone, and Elegant affairs. There will be an encore performance by the 2009 NPHC step show champions!!! And a performance by RAM SQUAD!! Walk in craving fashion, and walk out in style. |
