LETTER FROM THE EDITOR:

Dear Valley Readers,

First of all, what is Valley, exactly? We're a little new, so I guess I should offer you an explanation.

Valley is named after Happy Valley and was founded in September 2007 by former Penn State students Nicole Gallo, Meredith Ryan, Katie Zuccolo and Kathryn Tomaselli. The magazine was created to be a resource for Penn State women to learn about life and style on University Park's campus. After tons of hard work, the first issue of Valley was published in April 2008.

Valley still has a lot of growing to do, and our staff is working hard to provide a magazine that keeps you one step ahead in terms of the latest fashion, health, relationship and entertainment trends.

In our Fall/Winter 2008 issue, we're tracking down the top salons on campus, polling guys on what they want in a relationship, interviewing authors and musicians, honoring successful Penn State females, and much, much more.
