World Without Walls
Are you curious about cultures, religions, or worldviews you have heard about or known only from a distance? Do you enjoy meeting, sharing meals, or doing activities with people from other countries?
World Without Walls (WWW), a new group, meets every Wed. night, 7:00 PM, in HUB 107. Graduate and undergraduate students as well as Penn State staff or profs are welcome.
Our goal is to connect with and learn about people from different cultures, religions, languages, and worldviews. We will discuss any topic the group is curious about, from current events to questions about beliefs and values. We also connect through social activities like cooking and sharing meals, hiking, movies, concerts—and you can add to the list. Join us in exploring the “other” while removing walls that prevent us from learning to know and respect other cultures, religious traditions, or worldviews.
This may not be the easiest group to be involved in but it just may be the most rewarding.
