MasquerAIDS

MasquerAIDS is a fundraising event produced annually by the Penn State Thespians that raises money for the AIDS Project of Centre and Clinton Counties. The purpose of the event is to educate, inform, and raise awareness about AIDS while entertaining the audience with an artistic show. In past years, the show has ranged from plays and musicals to a cabaret of various songs.

2008-2009 Production

This years production titled: MasquerAIDS 2009: Living With, Not Dying From was performed in Heritage Hall in the Hub-Robeson Center on February 8th at 8:00 p.m. The show consisted of various scenes and musical numbers from popular musicals and movies. Songs and scenes ranged from Hairspray, Les Miserables, Spring Awakening, Man of La Mancha, The Birdcage, Pulp Fiction, Philadelphia as well as several original pieces.
