Father's Day Scramble For A Cure

According to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in the course of their life. This year, Penn State's Engineering Honor Society is organizing a Father's Day golf scramble to raise prostate awareness. In the packet below there is information that is pertinent anyone that would like to be involved with the event; including golfers, sponsors, and donors.

The Father's Day 2013 Scramble for a Cure on Saturday June 15th is supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation in order to advance research for this organization. All proceeds will be donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Our goal is to raise a total of $70,000 or more in order to fund a potential project that the PCF will support.

Founded in 1885 at Lehigh University, the Engineering Honor Society, Tau Beta Pi, has since grown to include over two hundred collegiate chapters and nearly sixty alumni chapters. The Pennsylvania Beta chapter of Tau Beta Pi was founded at the Pennsylvania State University in 1912 as the twenty-sixth collegiate chapter. To be considered for membership students must demonstrate qualities such as superior academic performance; outstanding leadership potential; and continual dedication to the advancement of the engineering field.

The strength of our event is dependent on you, so whether you can sponsor, golf, or simply donate, you'll be making a real difference. Please download the packet below for additional details and information on how you can help support the golf scramble.
