Mission:
The association shall:
1. be a social, cultural, educational, democratic, independent, and non-profit organization operating under the principles of respect for democracy, human rights and secularism.
2. not use religion as a basis for any official action under the principle of secularism since the members of the organization may have different religious backgrounds.
3. not discriminate against any person because of age, ancestry, color, disability or handicap, national origin, race, religious creed, gender, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
4. operate under the guidance of scientific thought.
5. further the cause of secularism and educate the community with its activities as described in Article II Section A. Secularism is interpreted and restated by the association and its members as defined in Article XV Section A.
6. promote the principles of Kemalism, inform and educate the community about these principles with the activities as described in Article II Section A. Kemalism is interpreted and restated by the association and its members as defined in Article XV Section B.
