MOON FESTIVAL BBQ
This Sunday we will be having our Moon Festival BBQ at Tom Tudek Park (around Giant). So far, according to the weather forecast, it says it might rain on Sunday. We hope the weather will get better; if not, there's a chance we might postpone it.
The BBQ will be a joint activity between TASA and HKSA (Hong Kong Student Association). The Moon Festival is a holiday on which we celebrate the first full moon. It will be a great chance for people to come out to have fun and make new friends.
Members who have paid the $15 membership fee do not have to pay anything for this event.
For non-members, $5 will be charged.
On Sunday, we will be offering rides in front of the HUB at 2:30. If you do need a ride, please contact Ying at 814-441-0124.
So far, the activities that are planned are: Frisbee/Soccer, some fun games with prizes, moon cakes, lantern, etc.
TASA WELCOME PARTY
Come join us at the TASA WELCOME PARTY!! It will be held at one of our members' house on 809 West Beaver Avenue. Dinner will be provided by Big Bowl. We will be playing games, meeting people, interacting with each other...socializing....etc.
We will be collecting the membership fees which is $15 per school year or $10 per semester. If you aren't sure about joining the club, you'll still have to pay a $3 fee for this event. Remember, you get a free t-shirt with the yearly membership fees! ;)
