SUW Winter Trash 2 Treasure Sale

What is the Trash to Treasure Saleroom?
The Student United Way Winter Trash 2 Treasure Sale is an outgrowth of the
Trash to Treasure
stadium sale
that happens every year in May. The sale is organized and operated entirely
by the members of Penn State Student United Way and is headed by two T2T coordinators.
For the past two years, the sale has been held in 106 Fischer building in the
East Halls housing complex off Bigler Road. All Money that is raised is then
donated to Centre County United Way. The sale has grown considerably from
its onset, and in 2008 we received roughly 3 1/2 tons of donations. After
four weeks of sorting and organizing, for the first time ever, we broke the
$5,000 dollar mark. Last year, Student United Way raised over $5,300 for Centre County United Way through the Trash to Treasure sale.
