President - Sara Kizer
Hello! My name is Sara Kizer and I am a junior majoring in Health Policy and Administration. I joined Student United Way my freshman year while volunteering for Trash to Treasure and quickly became involved in the other club activities. Last year, I served as one of the Trash to Treasure coordinators and now I am very excited to serve as this year's President! My goals for this year is to increase membership, create more opportunities for volunteering, and have more organized fundraising activities. Vice President - Laura Shaaf
Hi! My name is Laura Schaaf and I'm a sophomore majoring in broadcast journalism. I got involved in Student United Way my freshman year after hearing about the club at the involvement fair. Since then I've participated in many of the volunteer opportunities that the club offers including the Big Burger Challenge, Trash to Treasure, and canning for THON. Last year, I was even able to represent our club in THON as a dancer! Student United Way is a wonderful way to meet friends and get involved in the Penn State community. Treasurer - Drew Kane
Hi, my name is Drew Kane, and I am a junior majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Economics. I joined SUW as a freshman and have been an active member since. In my spare time, I enjoy skiing, watching baseball and football, and playing ping pong. My main goal this year is to increase our fundraising in order to do even more for the Penn State community. Secretary - Stephanie Rosati
Hi my name is Stephanie Rosati and I am a Junior majoring in Psychology here at Penn State. I joined SUW last Spring to get involved in the community and have participated in alot of great opportunities since. It is a great way to meet new people and give back to the community. I am looking forward to being secretary this year and am excited for all of the upcomming events! Agency Outreach - Nicole Butera
My name is Nicole, and I'm a sophomore majoring in Math. I joined Student United Way last year and have participated in many fun SUW activities. I'm very excited to be the Agency Outreach this year. My job as Agency Outreach is to contact United Way agencies and to set up events with them. I enjoy reading, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. Publicity Chair - Neema Kondru
Hi! My name is Neema Kondru and I am a sophomore at Penn State University. I am from Ashtabula, Ohio. I am the Publicity Chair of Student United Way. I am currently trying to undergo a degree in either Print Journalism or Medicine. I am not fully sure yet which major I will follow through with, but both are very interesting. I joined Student United Way because I liked how small our organization was in terms of how many members there were, but how well known the organization was nationally. I joined the first semester of my freshman year since I liked doing service projects and Student United Way gave me exactly what I was looking for. Our club is very relaxed yet respectable, so I am always eager to volunteer whenever it works well with my schedule. I am looking forward to the new year and new opportunities we face!
Trash 2 Treasure Coordinators - Krysten Ligon
Hi! I'm Krysten Ligon and I'm a sophomore at Penn State. My major is Health Policy and Administration and I joined Student United Way my Freshman year along with HPA Club. Last year I had a lot of fun participating in the various activities including canning and Habitat for Humanity.
