About Silent Praise

How We Got Started

It was in the minds of two individuals that God implanted the notion to begin an organization that would praise and worship him in a different way. Being drawn together because of their love for Christ and their desire to praise and magnify the Lord in an unique way, was all apart of the master's plan. Through their union, the two, Vaughn Hill and Shannon Walker, were able to erect and establish a ministry which has come to be called, Silent Praise. Beginning their relationship in the spring semester of 2000, the two worked diligently to secure the necessary resources to ignite their purpose. What started as a small group organized by the two aforementioned people, soon established itself as a novel organization whose doctrine and purpose are founded in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

During the Spring semester of 2001, God continued to move within the ministry. By doing this, He inspired Jessica Allen to form a ministry called Praise Dance, which was then joined together at the hip with Silent Praise. The two groups were called to be together as 'one,' and are both spiritually carrying out the plan of God by teaching all nations, dancing before the Lord.

On November 26, 2001, the Praise Dance Ministry, who is now called 'God's Desire,' had decided to carry out their vision alone, as a separate ministry.. With the birth and the help of Silent Praise Ministries, God's Desire is now stable and ready to carry out the vision by "teaching all Nations."
