Next General Meeting of 2009-2010: February 9th from 6:30pm to 8pm in 106 Business Building. Our speaker will be Linda Haft, a member of the HRCI writing panel for PHR/SPHR certification exams, and she will be speaking about this as well as her career in HR. As always, refreshments will be served!
THON!!!!! Even though we were not able to get a dancer this year, come and support the rest of Penn State. It is truly an experience and if you are not familiar, it will be in the Bryce Jordan Center February 19th through February 21st. FTK!!! Hector can provide you with details of good times to visit and what you can see.
Centre County Prison Tour: Monday, February 22nd. at 1:00 p.m. we will be traveling to Centre County Correctional Facility in Bellefonte to tour their facility and learn about HR in the public sector. Meeting time and location are TBA. Contact Andy if you are interested in attending and note if you are able to drive.
Internship Profiles Event: Tuesday, February 23rd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in 106 Business Building we will be hosting an internship profile that will highlight some internship tips featuring real accounts of internship experience from some of our officers.
