• Phase Show: One of the Science Lions' most popular shows, the Phase Show demostrates the differences between the three phases of matter: solids, liquids and gases. An example of a demonstration from this show would be "crush the can." In this demo, students learn about the phase change from gas to liquid and the resulting pressure change inside the can.


• Static Electricity: Demonstrates the basic concepts of charge and the principle that opposite charges attract and like charges repel. Various demos are employed through the use of a Van der Graaf generator.


• Forensics (Cookie Jar): Interactive demo best suited for children in grades K-5th grade. Students are asked to solve the crime of who broke the cookie jar. Finger prints, a hair sample, and a foot print are all found at the scene of the "crime." Students must then deduce from a list of possible suspects who commited the crime.


• Forensics (Murder): Interactive demo similar to Forensics (Cookie Jar), but created for older students. Students are asked to solve a murder crime through an analysis of finger and shoe prints, clothes fibers left at the crime scene, and blood and DNA analysis.


• Ecology: This interactive demo is accomplished through the "endangered species game." The game highlights species relationships, explains the endangered and threatened species status, studies animal classifications with respect to eating habits, and overviews the predator and prey relationship.


• Acids And Bases: A stage show designed for high school students, it will excite students about simple acid and base chemistry. Several flashy and colorful demonstrations will be used to show how pH indicators work and to determine acidity and basicity.


• Polymers: Introduces students to polymers, the workhorse behind many of the plastics that we use. Designed for students from grades 1-12, the show teaches what a polymer is and demonstrates some of the properties that polymers have.
