Penn State Summer 2004 Training In Santa Cruz,

California

With club, UPAC, and private support 11 members of the Quantum Jujitsu club went and stayed for 1 month at a beach house 100 yards from the ocean and 300 yards from the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, California.  We went to California primarily to train Quantum Jujitsu, Warrior Yoga, and Restoration Massage.  But because we all we planned to do was train, we needed more classes to take.  We asked Claudio Franca if we could train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with him too.  He agreed and we spent several days a week training there too.  Thanks to the Santa Cruz Quantum Jujitsu, Warrior Yoga, Restoration Massage instructors and to Claudio and Garth for training us too.  We had a great time and learned a lot.  Here are some pictures from Vitorio of various aspects of the trip (other folks send me more photos! Here are pictures of an enormous bonfire/beach party we had on a quick trip to Santa Barbara.  Notice people jumping over the fire and some burning their hands doing a handstand on it.

Here is the beach in Santa Barbara during the day.  Pretty hard to beat. 

Here is all of us in during the Santa Barbara trip when we hiked back to some springs in the mountains and did some swimming and cliff jumping.
