The annual Upperclassman Twit of the Year Competition/Run is, like most Monty Python Society traditions, steeped in mystery. At least, we think that's mystery. To be perfectly honest, the Competition hasn't been held in quite a number of years, and records seem to indicate that it happened only three times to begin with. Those records themselves are admittedly a little spotty, but that's our story and (for now) we're sticking to it. As the organizer of the first competition Alyce Wilson has pointed out, while

numerous club documents survive from earlier eras, "many of the materials contained therein are now presumably incomprehensible to the current members. They survive as strange relics, to which no doubt some archeologist will some day ascribe religious significance."
Still, it was a good idea while it lasted and was in keeping with the Society's long-standing tradition of borrowing its best ideas from the Pythons themselves. Thanks to Wilson, we are now privileged to share these two short accounts of the Upperlcassman Twit of the Year Competitions. Enjoy:
