The Homecoming Parade

It's that age-old question: if life is a parade, why can't I stay afloat? Every year, the Monty Python Society marches in Penn State's Homecoming Parade, thereby making a mockery of this time-honored and cherished tradition by inciting lunacy and silliness as we rampage across campus.

Sometimes there are even pictures:
  • 1988 -- Sharing the Spirit of a Lunchtime
  • 1989 -- Always Look on the Bright Side of Life
  • 1990 -- Twenty Years of Monty Python
  • 1991 -- For the Glory of Spam
  • 1992 -- Generic Silliness
  • 1998 -- Twenty Years of Python on Campus
  • 2000 -- Keep on Truckin'
  • 2001 -- We're Only Funny Because You're...
  • 2002 -- Vikings, Spam, and Virgins
  • 2003 -- Death and Showtunes

As one columnist for The Daily Collegian once put it: "Pretty freaky."
