  Statement of Principles:

Individual Freedom

We, the members of Penn State Young Americans for Freedom believe:

  • That an individual has a right to own and control himself, his thoughts, and all that he can create.
  • That an individual has a right to defend himself and his property.
  • That the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees that one may keep and bear arms to protect these rights from any violator.

Long May Our Flag wave!
The People's Right to Keep and Bear Arms

The 2nd Amendment of the Bill of Rights: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the Right of the people to Keep and Bear Arms shall not be infringed."

      Free Enterprise

We believe:

  • That a society of free individuals pursuing their interests results in an economic harmony that cannot be achieved by state planning.
  • That restricting free exchange through government regulation results in inefficiency and destroys the harmony of the market system.
  • That free markets allow for more opportunity and prosperity than any other economic system.

Personal Responsibility

We believe:

  • That every person needs to be held accountable for the consequences of his actions.
  • That along with the right to govern yourself, comes responsibility for the outcome of your choices.
