Events
YAF with the G Man
In 1996 PS-YAF hosted patriot and syndicated radio talk show host G. Gordon Liddy. Known irreverently to some as "The G Man", Mr. Liddy was PS-YAF's first nationally known speaker and drew a large gathering for his speech.

YAF with Star Parker
Star Parker came to Penn State during the Fall 1998 semester to present her speech, "Pimps, Whores, and Welfare Brats," an account of the failure of America's system of welfare dependence. Here PS-YAF members pose for a picture during the post-speech reception.

YAF with William F. Buckley Jr.
During the Spring 2000 semester PS-YAF members were quite fortunate to meet one of America's legendary conservatives. William F. Buckley Jr. came to Penn State to debate the president of the ACLU and PS-YAF was there to cheer him on.

YAF with Reginald Jones
Reginald Jones was PS-YAF's guest during the Spring 2000 semester. His speech, "How Hip Hop Beat the Welfare State," brought a much needed voice of personal responsibility, free enterprise, and individual freedom to Penn State.

CPAC
Dinner at CPAC
After a long day of
CPAC 2000 activity PS-YAF members stopped for dinner in the underground Crystal City Mall.

YAF members at CPAC

YAF members take a rest from politics
So much excitement and politics in two days can be tiring. Here Jessica and Jeff take a break to rest and catch up on current events.

Our Protesters
???
No, it wasn't exactly standing room only at the Reginald Jones speech. The protesters that showed up that night in Spring 2000 just found it easier to not listen to what Mr. Jones had to say if they were uncomfortable.

liberals
No protest of a PS-YAF event has been as infantile or memorable as the one which took place December 3, 1998 during the Q&A period of Star Parker's speech. The protesters, members of Penn State Amnesty International, Womyn's Concerns, and Collegians Helping Aid Rescue Missions(CHARM), obiously gave a lot of business to the the local Army surplus store in preparation for their little skit. However, their rudely loud interuption did not change the fact that America's welfare system has done a great disservice to the millions who have become dependent on it.

Racism at its worst
When Ward Connerly came to Penn State during the Fall semester of 1998 supporters of race based preferences displayed just how intolerant they are to diversity of opinion when they protested outside of Schwabb Auditorium. The man holding the "Uncle Tom go home" sign was at the time a student advisor for Penn State.
