James Graulty was a member of the Icers squad that brought hockey back to Penn State back in November of 1971. After two years at the McKeesport campus, James transferred to the main campus and played two seasons as a right-winger for the Icers in which he tallied 13 goals, 13 assists in 40 career games. C.J. Patrick – Player (1995-1999)
C.J. was the first of several from his family to attend Penn State and play for the Icers. During his career, which spanned from 1995 to 1999, he amassed 37 goals and 45 assists. However, it was his commitment to defense and penalty killing that made him one of the best defensive forwards in Icers’ history. His leadership on and off the ice was underlined by being team captain his junior and senior seasons. Through his career, he garnered many accolades including the Cecil and Trudy Smith Improvement Award, the Tammy Smith Unsung Hero Award, Nittany Lion Invitational All-Tournament Team, and ACHA Academic All-American in 1999.
