Coaches

Head Coach - Pete Rosberg

After rowing for the Detroit Boat Club for 3 years in high school, Pete went to Marietta College where he medaled at SIRA four times, including one gold, as well as winning 3 medals at Dad Vails. After college, he rowed the flyweight single and made finals multiple times at Candian Henley. During his time rowing the lightweight single, Pete finished in the top 5 at both Head of the Charles and Head of the Schuykill. His previous coaching experience includes 2 years at Parkersburg South High in West Virginia and 4 years for the Detroit Boat Club. Since coming to Penn State, Pete has continued to coach for Detroit Boat Club during the summer.

Assistant Varsity Coach - Evan Hodes

Evan's 3 year rowing career with Penn State include two consecutive ACRA golds as well as a MACCC gold in the Varsity 4. Other notable places include finals at Dad Vails, multiple medals at Head of the Occoquan, and high placed finishes at Head of the Schuykill and Knect Cup. After graduating, Evan rowed for 2 years with the Lincoln Park Boat Club, during which he placed 8th at the Head of the Charles.

Novice Men's Coach - Jason Burke

Jason began rowing with Penn State in the Fall of his Freshman year. During his 4 years with the team, he medaled at Head of the Ohio, MACCCs, Knect Cup, Governor's Cup, and Murphy Cup. He brought home a bronze medal at Head of the Ohio in a Heavy 8. In the Fall of his Junior year, Jason seat raced into the Light 8 and held his seat until graduation.
