| At the end of spring semester, 1994, an interest meeting for the "Penn State Rowing Club" was held to see how many students were interested in joining a rowing organization if one were started. To my surprise over fifty curious individuals filled that 2nd floor classroom in the Willard Building indicating that there was more than enough interest. In December of that year, following a hearing with the Undergraduate Student Government Supreme Court, the Penn State Rowing Club received its club charter marking the beginning of an organization that would influence hundreds of lives. | ||
