These pictures are the chosen few that graced the old website.
The friendship and camaraderie seen in these photos were the start of the best club at
Penn State.
The team that started it all. Tommy Otterbine (top
left, on top of the lionhead) and Pat Taggart (sky blue pants) continued with the
team until they graduated in 2007.
Year number two. Some more familiar faces in Maria
Paredes (1st row, 1st from left), Shawn Henderson (3rd row, 2nd from left),
Ryan Guice (Top row 1st from left) and Steve Ayres (Top row, 2nd from left)
surface and become officers during their time as XC'ers.
By 2005, the team's membership had taken off and regulars
like Josh Verbano, Rick Strable, Nicci Coulombe, Billy Weisser, Tim Aydin, Devin
Rosencrance, Sue Kurilla, Brian Neiss, and Zach Smith come onto the scene.
By 2006, the club fully blossomed into what it
is today. It just goes to show that a little commitment and a lasting work ethic
go a long way. The following pictures recall the good times of early races and
socials.
