and review show
featuring
commentary by film majors Ryan Quinn and Carly Hyland. The
program
showcases student films almost every week, followed by interviews with
the
films' directors and crew. It also features segments devoted
to
Hollywood
news and rumors, as well as films showing in the Penn State
area.
In its
Fall 2009 season, Reel TV acquired three new co-hosts, Gia Motyl and
Owen
Rogers who will be hosting a television news segment, and Samantha
Shapiro, who
will be reviewing DVDs weekly on the show. With a blend of
on-the-street
reports, bizarre comedy, and the occasional visit from renowned film
producer
Andrew Karasik (whose cousin wrote Rockadoodle), Reel TV is the perfect
way for
film fans to spend their Tuesday evening.
