A very brave person slept in that sleeping bag outside a tent for the Minnesota '05 campout. The NCC doesn't recommend trying this... especially if it rains.
This car jumped the curb and hit a water-filled barrier outside Gate A during the '05 Minnesota camp out. Almost all of the Nittanyville veterans who saw this incident have gone on now, but it is a story that has been passed down to virtually every regular camper for years.

Tents were even set up atop the Grassi Knoll for the 2005 Ohio State camp out.
This sign marked out the hours until kickoff, beginning at well over 100 and moving down like clock-work throughout the week before the '05 OSU game.

The drummer in this can actually was sealed inside it when he began playing before emerging to raucous cheers during the '05 Ohio State campout.
We even celebrate holidays at Nittanyville as evidenced by these cleverly carved pumpkins present for Halloween during the 2005 Wisconsin camp out. (Note that, at the time, the camp was still called "Paternoville").
