We arrived and found
that the entrance to Miller II was blocked with debris that washed down
the hill. It would have taken too much time to move so we proceeded to
Miller I. We used the right side passage on the way in and after a couple
feet I found out that I should have remembered to bring my knee pads. I
was the only one who opted for the right side stream crawl as everyone
else went with the dryer path. I must say that I was a little bit tired
when we started the trip, but after that I was wide awake. The trip
continued to the right (towards the mud room). In the next room Trevor,
Steve, Katie(I think) and myself went down the small slide and crossed the
stream. There were white/clear objects hanging from the ceiling that we
noticed, but I haven’t a clue as to what they were. The crevasse slowed
the pace since everyone was cautious with foot placement. The end of the
line was the mud room, and not a soul came out clean. The trip ended up
with a dip in the “Hot tub”. My body was a little too cold to stand in
that water for a long time. I give credit to those who managed to bathe in
there and still make it out without freezing.
Highlight: Flurries while
walking back to the vehicles.
