MAR- Campground deposit
for Woodward was taken care of.
All future costs come from MAR,
otherwise keep recipt and submit it to MAR.
Buy beer and cans of soda in the summer or later.

Store- Should we buy new lights for the new helmets? What
kind?
Anthony will look into rechargable batteries for the grotto
and vote will be next meeting.
Newsletter- Keith is
working on it, will wait for registration form from Jeff for MAR
to also
be included, all articles need to be submitted by Feb 15 for
inclusion.
New Business- On Feb 14 there will be a Bat count in Share Cave- will put sign back up
White
nose syndrome is now at 8 NY sights, one with a bat population over
100,000. Also found bats in VT, none in PA yet, be careful and
wash gear.
Trips
Done- Tytoona on Wed, Jan 23. 16 people went in,
ice
formations near entrance were good, largest being a foot high.
The Best ice formations occured after the trip n Andy's feet.
Most people did side crawl, most also did duck
under. Crayfish was seen.
Gary had
a Saturday trip to Deer-bone. 6 people went in,
the youngest
being 9 years old, spent 2.5 hours in cave.
Karen and George did a hike on Sunday, the James
Cleveland Trail which
passes by Share cave, very powdery snow,
nice ice
formations near cave entrance.
They also lead a group from Bloomsberg to
McCallisterville last week.
Events Planned- Joe requested a trip to Chime, it was granted.
Rope Practice this Sunday at 12-3pm in room 106 of
the White Buildng.
Gary
is planning on doing a trip on Wednesday,
show up at the Sheilds Buildng 6pm to come.
Pat is planning a trip to Carniege on Feb 24,
email him if you want to
come.
Possible Grotto Trip to TAG region, everyone needs verticle training
and gear.
Trip limit is 8, will leave Thursday night and return
Late Monday or Tuesday.
Email Amanda if you want to go with dates you prefer, preferably in April.
The best dates seem to be for the group April 10 - 13
or April 17-20, or later?
There will be another trip to Mexico in June, Jim Kennedy is orgonizing
it,

Program- A piture presentation was given by George on the
New discoveries in
Whispering Rocks where we saw amazing
soda straws
and huge
areas of flow stone.
AMM- Anthony held an AMAZING AMM, Thanks! Next meeting it will be at Brittney and Steph's house.
