Habla Para La Diversidad w/ A&F 2.18.09

Congratulations to Johanna Maldonado (junior-psychology) the first-place winner of NHBA’s annual Speak for Diversity event.  Johanna won $150 for her monologue Lola, Teresa, and Maya.  If you missed the event the program is available here and be sure to see the article from The Collegian here.  Congrats as well to the runners up Mayra Leon (junior-biobehavioral health) and Jasmine Rushum (freshman-public relations). e-Portfolio Meeting 12.3.08

The e-Portfolio meeting hosted by none other than our Public Relations chair has prepared many of the members for the future of job-searching.  Be sure to look out for their pages being added to the site.  If you missed the meeting, download the copy of the slides here, and you can prepare your own e-portfolio.

 

Stiletto & Tie 11.14.08

Our Stiletto & Tie mixer at the Candy lounge was huge hit.  Even with mid-terms right around the corner everyone took a break from their studies to dance to the sounds of DJ Nova.  Be sure to check out the pictures…and if you missed out on all of the fun, keep an eye out for events coming up in the spring semester.

 

Viva las Vegas!!

We are back from our exciting weekend at the National NHBA Leadership program in Las Vegas! We met with several companies and are looking forward to developing these relationships in hopes of finding some future sponsors.

Some of us even got into Kim Kardashian’s birthday party.  Just  an example of the many perks of being in NHBA at PSU.
