"Rape is Everybody's Problem"
Men Stopping Rape's primary goal is to provide acurate information about rape from a male perspective in order to enforce the fact that rape is not just a women's problem.


Some of M.S.R.'s goals include . . .
  • to provide an outlet for men to talk to men about how rape affects them
  • to help Penn State students reflect on their roles and recognize attitudes within themselves and others that contribute to date rape.
  • to encourage communication in relationships and about issues of consent.
  • to provide educational workshops and other presentations to students, student groups and MSR members, in order to raise awareness about the issue of rape and sexual assault.
  • to organize, participate in, or support other relevant public events that contribute to awareness about rape.
  • to work in cooperation with Penn State and community groups on issues of common interest.
