"Are Muslims a Threat to America?"

Raeed Tayeh

is an American-born Muslim andformer head of the public relations office of the Muslim American Society, a national civil rights group. He also served as comm8nications director for Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, D-Georgia. His articles have appeared in major newspapers and magazines, and he was been a guest speaker on several radio and television program including, “The O’Reilly Factor”. Tayeh is also the author of “A Muslim’s Guide to American Politics and Government”.

Dr. Mehdi Noorbaksh

“Islamic Terrorism & the West”                                                                

is Associate Professor of International Affairs at Harrisburg University. He has published extensively on the Middle East politics. He has published with Foreign Policy Association, Middle East Policy Journal, International Journal of Middle Eastern Studies and others. He authored chapters in books and contributed opinion editorial to newspapers such as Daily Star (Lebanon) on regular basis. He is currently working on a number of articles on the Middle East and Iran, and two books, one on the interaction of Islam, nationalism and democratic change in Iran and the other on American foreign policy in the Middle East since the beginning of the Cold War. Dr. Noorbaksh has been consulted by news media, research organizations and private enterprises on Middle East, Iran, Iraq, Arab-Israeli Conflict and Afghanistan.

“A Lecture in Islamic Fundamentalism

is Associate Professor of History at West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He has published widely on the history of U.S.-Middle East relation and teaches Middle East history. He is recently authored the book "Islamic Fundamentalism".   

 

 

 

Dr. Arthur Goldschmidt, Jr., professor emeritus of Middle East history at Penn State, and the author of A Concise History of the Middle East.  He is the author as well of Modern Egypt: Foundation of a Nation-State, Second Edition. He is the recipient of the Amoco Foundation Award for Outstanding Teaching and the 2000 Middle East Studies Association Mentoring Award.
