Our basic mission is to realize Islam through words, actions and intentions to Muslims and non-Muslims on the Penn State campus and in the society at large for the love of God. In aspiring to achieve this, we focus on elevating our fellow Muslims' spirituality, increasing awareness of Islam and its principles in the greater non-Muslim community, serving the greater Muslim community of State College as an integral part of the larger regional Muslim identity, and supporting Penn State Muslim students in their religious, educational, social, dietary, and/or other daily needs.

The Muslim Students Association at Penn State is governed by a parlimentary Executive Board, comprised of a President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer, and Public Relations officer. The administration of the MSA is handled directly by the Executive Board and through its administrative offices.

These offices are coordinated by E-Board appointed chairspeople, and constituted by interested MSA members, who play an essential role in directing the policy and implementation of their respective areas and of the MSA at large.
