The Penn State Model Railroad Club was founded by Glen Van Winkle and received official recognition as a Penn State Club on March 23^rd, 1955 . The club boasts numerous members from all different ages and backgrounds and proudly celebrated its 50^th Anniversary on April 23^rd, 2005 – 50 years to the day of when construction began for first layout. We are currently working on our fifth layout and enjoying our 54th year in existence.
