The Lutheran Student Community Council (LSC Council) is a body of students, both graduate and undergraduate, who represent the Lutheran community here at Penn State, University Park. The LSC Council plans, organizes and leads events of the Lutheran Student Community at Penn State and Lutheran Campus Ministry at Penn State, in cooperation with the Lutheran Campus Ministry and Grace Lutheran Church by working with the staff members of these agencies.

LSC Council members use their gifts such as dedication, communication, responsibility, faith, motivation and enthusiasm as they work together to serve God and others while living out the Gospel.

LSC Council Members are expected to:

  • Participate regularly in the activities of LSC & worship life.
  • Attend monthly council meetings.
  • Take responsibility for part of the program of LSC.
  • Work cooperatively with LCM and Grace staff and students involved in LSC.
  • Participate in planning the activities and programs of LSC.
  • Serve, lead and respect others in the community.
  • Welcome and include other students into the life of LSC.
  • Uphold the mission of LSC. (see LSC Home Page)
