Events: S-Zone
The S-Zone is a project that was started during the 1998 football season. During every home football game, Lion Ambassadors lead a cheering section of 800 students in the senior section. Students in this area wear blue and white t-shirts that create an enormous blue "S" on a white background that can be seen clearly from any vantage point in the stadium. Most importantly, it is highly visible on television during broadcasted games. This is one of the Lion Ambassadors' most visible projects.
In 2004 the Ambassadors established corporate sponsorship for the S-Zone t-shirts. From there on, custom S-Zone shirts are given to every single seat in the S-Zone, putting together one of the best-looking S-Zones in the project's history and setting a precedent for the project. In 2006, the Ambassadors decided to invert the colors of the S-Zone. The result was a thrilling white "S" contrasting magnificently against the blue background.
