Events: Lion Ambassador Recruitment

Recruitment

Lion Ambassador Recruitment is held every fall for the purpose of informing prospective Lion Ambassadors about the organization. The programs address the history of the group, the activities that members take part in, the social aspects of Ambassadors, as well as the membership process. Speeches are given for the purpose of explaining all that is done for the University and within the organization. Decorations also typically illustrate some of the activities Lion Ambassadors do. Lion Ambassador Recruitment Sessions often includes a speech from an honorary Lion Ambassador, as well as a slide show of projects and "Ambassa-love." Prospective members may mingle and ask questions of the current membership after the presentation.

This year’s recruitment sessions will be held on the following dates:

September 30th, 7 p.m. Hintz Family Alumni Center

October 20th, 7 p.m. 111 Wartik Laboratory

November 18th, 7 p.m. 111 Wartik Laboratory

This year’s Recruitment Open House will be held on December 9th at 7 p.m. in the Hintz Family Alumni Center. Anyone interested in becoming a Lion Ambassador is encouraged to come to these sessions to learn more about the application process as well as the organization as a whole.
