Events: Lantern Tours

During the fall, Lion Ambassadors provide historical nighttime tours of the campus by the light of lanterns. Characters from Penn State's history, such as freshman men, an early 20th century headmistress, George Atherton, Old Coaly, and Evan Pugh, reenact some of the traditions and nostalgia of Old State. Food and fun are provided for student body and community members as they enjoy Old Main.

The bell tower will also be open to add yet another dimension to the evening.

When: Friday, October 9, 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Where:  Old Main
What: Meet Characters of Penn State's past and present during a stroll through campus by lantern light and finish with a view from the Old Main Bell Tower.  Food and hot chocolate will be served.
