Penn State LASS Objectives and Purpose

As a student society our priority is to the student body, specifically those of the landscape architecture program.  We hope to provide a welcome setting for all students to get involved with our activities in order to expand on their skills and experiences outside what is provided for them within the classroom.  LASS also provides an essential forum for the integration of different classes of students within the landscape architecture program.  Through fun activities we provide students the opportunity to network with other upper and lower level students to providing valuable friendships between the years and a more unified community.  Beyond our own major we also seek to create lasting connections with other majors and student societies within the Penn State community.

We encourage all students of landscape architecture to get involved with the society.  Some of the benefits of membership include discounted banquet tickets, special classes and seminars, valuable learning opportunities and a more enjoyable five years of landscape architecture education.

Please review our constitution and by-laws.
