We had our semi-annual Alumnae Career Panel where our distinguished alums come back to tell us about their experiences in the real world. It was a great networking opportunity for the actives. We just held our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Ball in Days Inn this past weekend. Thank you to all those who came out to attend this event. All the proceeds were donated to Susan G. Komen For The Cure Foundation. Special shoutout to our philanthropy chair, Yuqing Gao, for making this all possible. Read the featured article on the Daily Collegian. We performed at Greek Sing along with the brothers of Delta Kappa Epsilon and Delta Sigma Iota. Thank you to all the people who came out to support us in our rendition of the musical Chicago. Special shoutout to our Greek Sing Chair, Mamie Ling, without her we would not have had a show at all.

We just had our Northeast Sisterhood Rally at SUNY Binghamton University. It was great seeing more than 100+ sisters there. Thank you to Binghamton University for organizing such a great sisterhood weekend. We cannot wait to see more sisters this year. =)

We participated in the annual Asian Awakenings hosted by the Asian-Pacific American Coalition. We had two performances, one cultural and one modern, this year. It was held in the HUB Alumni Hall from 10 pm - 12 am. Good job to all the perfomers this year. Thank you to all those who came out to support us. GREAT JOB to the choreographers Sandy Nguyen, Min Cha and Nancy Chen.

Congratulations to alpha Kappa Delta Phi for receiving Philanthropic Leadership Award and Chapter Programming Award at the annual Greek Oscars. Each award is given to two Greek Organizations (one fraternity and one sorority) in honor of their hard work throughout the year.
Congratulations to Miss Christy Cheung for receiving Greek Pride Award and the Order Of Omega 2005 Scholarship Award.

This was the first time we participated in Relay for Life along with 80+ organizations. Special shoutout to Hannah, Sandy and Cynthia for helping making it all possible. Relay for Life is a 24-hr walk-a-thon where volunteers walk for 24 hours to raise money for the American Cancer Society. We hope to participate in it again next year.

Good job to our THON dancers: Christy "Lil' Chigga" Cheung, Yuqing "DaYze" Gao and Sandy "Rogue" Nguyen for staying on their feet for 48 hours straight. Thank you to all sisters and friends who came out to support them. This year the Penn State Dance Marathon broke another record by raising $4,214,748.18 for Pediatric Cancer Research.
