Being an Asian-American Interest Sorority, alpha Kappa Delta Phi strives to promote Asian Awareness in the community and University. We are actively involved in the Asian-PAcific American Coalition (APAC) which is an umbrella organization of Asian organizations on campus. Each year we participate in Asian Awakenings which is a cultural showcase of performances showing our Asian heritage. Sisters from other chapters also come to support us during this time. We also are one of the people that hosts Unity Jam each year after Asian Awakenings which is a chance for the whole APA community to come out and get to know each other.
Each year, alpha Kappa Delta Phi along with Lambda Phi Epsilon, co-hosts the Mr/Miss Asian Pacific American Pageant which is a pageant awarding two individuals in the APA community who have shown leadership and passion for the APA Community.
We also travel to support our other chapters throughout the year
